Why shouldn't I sign up right now on the website ?
	You can if you want, of course. But if you sign up thanks to a sponsorship, you're actually helping your country... and we need it a lot. Besides, you'll get a godfather or a godmother to guide you during your first steps in the game. Trust me, it will be useful !

In eRepublik, citizens are the first wealth of a country. As there are 17000 Americans, 11000 Spaniards and 9000 Romanians, all being enemies of France... France hardly reach 10000 people ! Our foes managed to take advantage of that weakness : for example, Canada showed its hostility towards our country many times (French toast operation, fake military trainings, ...). Last month, they even tried to cheat with us by proposing us a fake peace.

Luckily, we have some wonderful allies : Argentina, Iran, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Brazil... With their help, we managed to avoid France from being wiped of the map and even participated in a huge counter attack in Canada, USA and Spain.

This platform, as well as an advertisment campaign to make eRepublik famous in France, have been setup to introduce you to the game and to guide future players in an efficient way. Signing in doesn't cost anything, and will allow you to know what's up in eFrance, to discover this virtual new country and what's waiting for you...

If you join eRepublik with an invitation (yeah, the form which shows up thanks to the green button, right here on the left side !), you will create 5 Golds (the reference and international currency) for both you (it means many weeks of wages !) and for your country. In other words, even if you don't like the game, you will be sort of a patriot anyway !
